VBR Rave: New Scents from Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant
Once upon a time, somewhat back-back in the day (2011?), while visiting the vegan grocery store Food Fight in Portland (my future home town), I came across Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant. I had never seen deodorant paste in a jar before and I was intrigued, especially by the scent Cedarwood + Juniper. I of course bought some and instantly fell in love. A yearish later, I was contacted by the owner Schmidt’s to review her line of pit magic and I was like “hell f*ucking yeah.” Paraphrasing, ya know. 😉 Anywho, since then, they have BLOWN UP. Seriously, they are everywhere! And it totally makes sense because their deodorant really, and I mean really really works. They are also 100% vegan, cruelty-free, non-toxic, and made in the USA.
Having said that, lemme intro y’all to their two newest scents:
SPRUCE + SPICE – This is a limited edition scent so stock up, mah babehs! With essence of spruce and nuances of warm spices, it’s not only perfect for winter, but it’s a great scent for the fellas. I personally rock this, too, so imma call this a unisexy scent, but if you love woodsy/earthy smells, you will love.
ROSE + VANILLA – Seriously, SHTAAAP. I kid you not, it’s perfection, especially if you’re a girlie-girl or adoral anything floral. It smells like a heavenly bouquet of rose with hints of sweet, powdery vanilla. It’s definitely luxurious, elegant, and inviting. The scent lasts for quite some time, too, so in a way it doubles up as perfume.

Ingredients: Maranta arundinacea (arrowroot) powder, Cocos Nucifera (coconut) Oil, Euphorbia Cerifera (candelilla) Wax, Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (fractionated coconut oil), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Natural fragrance, Tocopherol (vitamin E)
So yeah, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on some of my fave all-natural deodorant. If you’re looking to greenify your beauty routine in 2017, natural deodoro is a great start! 🙂 xx
